Volunteer group shot

Thanks to all who helped make this as successful as it was -- now get ready for the next years swim meet - next year will be the 21st swim meet sponsored and hosted by the Leamington Lions Club. Leamington High School - what great volunteers

This picture doesn't do justice to the actual event - the volunteers ON THEIR OWN - made a victory arc - and every ribbon, and medal winner was treated to cheers and cheers and 'hi 5's' in the arc - the swimmer participants really appreciated this -- by the size of their smiles on their faces.

Lions volunteer build it and tear it down

Two of many local Lions club members who helped make the day - arriving early to set up chairs & tables and staying to the ned to tear down and clean up - pictured are Lion Emil & Lion Don - thansks to all Lions who helped.

After the morning in swim competition - participants enjoy food and rink. Special thanks to McDonald's , Tim Horton's and Zehrs - for their generous contributions that allow the Leamington Lions to host the Special Olympics swim meet regional qualifier for the last 20 years!

Food & Awards

Jo Evans co-ordinates much of the work for the food - thanks to a local church for the kitchen and the helpers. Dave Dillon and Chris McLeod - from leamington Lions club are involved with many details to make the day run well.
